Overview

The Security Agent programme prepares participants to protect people, property and facilities against any act of malice, theft or intrusion.

It builds the technical, regulatory and behavioural skills the role requires, within the legal framework and the security procedures in force.

Who it is for:

  • Anyone wishing to work as a security agent in the public or private sector.
  • Professionals changing career into the security field.

Entry requirements:

  • Be of legal age (18 or over).
  • Hold a clean criminal record (bulletin no. 3).
  • Command of French (spoken and written).
  • Be medically fit to perform security duties.

Course objectives

  • Identify the duties and responsibilities of a security agent.
  • Apply the security instructions and procedures specific to their working environment.
  • Prevent and manage conflict or high-risk situations.
  • Master observation, access control and surveillance techniques.
  • Use security equipment (detectors, radios, CCTV systems, and so on).
  • Communicate effectively with teams and law enforcement during an incident.
