Flight Dispatcher

The  Flight Dispatcher, also called  Flight Operations Officer, is responsible for preparing a file containing the technical and commercial data required for the flight. Before landing and take-off, various information is exchanged between the flight crew and the Operations  Officer: notes on the aircraft, its characteristics, the latest technical interventions carried out, information on passengers and cargo, and weather conditions.

At the end of the training, the student will take a national examination organised with the Tunisian General Directorate of Civil Aviation.

In order to become  a Flight Dispatcher, it is necessary to go through the following steps:

1-Theoretical training
(Diploma: Homologated Duration: 9 months )

2-Practical training course provided by the school :3 months

3-The qualification of the flight dispatcher

In order to obtain the Flight Operations Officer Licence, the student who has his  Flight Operations Officer diploma and has completed the practical training  will follow a machine and regional qualification  training.

Duration: 10 days

4-Familiarisation flight

After passing the qualification examination, a familiarisation flight is organised by the center. This experience will allow you to see the various aspects of the flight, to better understand the skills needed for the training, and to participate in the preparation of the flight to the destination.
