Training Overview
Enable Aviation Security personnel to deliver validated specialized Aviation Security training courses, focused on didactic materials such as Standardized Training Packages (STP) and Aviation Security Training Packages (ASTP), to selected personnel.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Personnel who are or will be assigned **aviation security-related training duties**.
PREREQUISITES
Trainees must meet the following criteria:
- Have professional experience in aviation security (it is highly recommended that trainees have already attended a specialized basic aviation security course, such as the STP BASIC or an equivalent level course);
- Be proficient in the written and oral language of instruction;
- Demonstrate aptitude for training duties
🎯 OBJECTIVES
Deliver AVSEC training by applying general principles of learning and teaching;
Effectively present validated training courses focused on didactic materials;
Identify, select, and prepare appropriate teaching aids;
Design or modify training objectives and examinations as needed to adapt them to national requirements;
Identify and use appropriate teaching methods.
