Overview
The « Dangerous Goods » training aims to educate participants on the handling, labeling, storage, transportation, and regulatory declaration of goods classified as dangerous. It ensures the safety of people, property, and the environment, in compliance with international regulations (ADR for road, IATA for air, IMDG for sea).
🎯 Training Objectives
Identify dangerous goods according to their class (explosives, gases, flammable liquids, etc.).
Know and apply current regulations (ADR, IATA, IMDG depending on the mode of transport).
Correctly package, label, and mark packages containing dangerous goods.
Draft mandatory transport documents (Dangerous Goods Declaration, Safety Data Sheet, etc.).
Adopt the correct safety gestures and reflexes in the event of an incident or accident.
Prevent risks associated with the handling and storage of these products.
Prerequisites
- Must be able to read and understand safety instructions in French (or English for certain international courses).
- Basic experience or knowledge of the transport/logistics sector is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years old (often required for handling certain products).
- No specific degree required, except for certified or specialized training (e.g., Safety Advisor).
