The ground handling agent is part of the operational services of an airline. They work at the passenger check-in counters at the airport, handle security at departure, assist with boarding before takeoff, and manage arrivals (disembarkation).
The ground handling agent handles all passenger and baggage check-in operations and facilitates connection formalities. If necessary, they assist unaccompanied minors, elderly, or disabled passengers.

Roles and Responsibilities
The ground handling agent works under the supervision of the station manager, who oversees the team at the airport site.
The agent becomes a versatile professional familiar with all airport operations. They acquire skills in both check-in and technical ground operations as well as security.
